DLL file must be present at run time.
The filenames always start with lib, and end with a suffix of.
Class libraries are the rough OOP equivalent of older types of code libraries. Try this for windows users Library (computing) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I have this code which reads all the files from a directory. Take a look at Subversion Users: Re: svn error, cannot find libsvn_client ... and feel free to add any feature you think could be useful
