Where to Store sensitive data information

I have Two Factor Authentication system where I need to store Auto generated Code and requested time in form storage for retrieving it later purpose.

Only collect and keep the information that you will need. Names, addresses and phone numbers are not sensitive by themselves. Other personal data that can be used to facilitate identity theft. Grade lists that include personally identifiable information.
