How to explicitly change the Rails database endpoint to a slave using Postgresql

We are going for low hanging fruit and moving our reporting/stats to master/slave replication setup.

That complexity is often what makes big Rails apps difficult to adapt and change. Each node in the graph represents a class in your rails app.
Jack measures complexity by the number of possible endpoints that each class has.
