How can I load data from yml files onto HUGO template.

This is why we have the dependencies in info files now.
The problem is where does this metadata reside.
There goes my idea for config profiles. So, I stumbled on this https://www.drupal.org/node/937814 which makes total sense

This might be not the solution that was looked for but i solved it like this
I found this solution [meta] Smarter UI/API separation for modules [#937814 ... and i am using it in my project

I also tried hooking up to Native Multilingual support in Hugo. #1734 - github.com but this gave no error messages either
Happy to hear what people think about the various alternative solutions
