Any help is higly appriciated. I have functionality that I would like to call every day on my SharePoint Online environment.

The property page displays the address (URL) of the workbook.
Adding a Web reference to the SharePoint Server Excel Web Services.
For example like here: Developing Custom Applications by Using Excel Web Services in SharePoint Server 2007 for any advise :)

You can also set alerts to monitor changes to files or folders in SharePoint

Limited storage so good for small apps /documents.
In short, don't waste your time with this app. Briefcase Lite is a poor excuse for SharePoint on an iPad.
Another workaround is listed at Free SharePoint for iPad and iPhone: Colligo Briefcase Lite on the App Store that requires less work
