Ajax, how do you call a Moodle webservice from a block mod plugin?

Could someone please help. Perhaps this is simple question but I am not quite sure how to use Moodle's AJAX example code for web services within Blocks and other plugins on front end.

This is the way I am using at this moment. You can use my service, AMOS Log - lang.moodle.org for this
