STAX SAX Parser how to parse Source object?

I have webservice which will take xml as input and parse using DOM. Since it taking more time to parse xml so i decided to parse with STAX (or SAX ) api which am not able to do.

That object can be a SAX event handler, a DOM, or an output stream. Similarly, the result object is the result of the transformation process. The source object is the input to the transformation process.
It provides a familiar tree structure of objects.

I had this same problem however none of the answers in this thread worked for me. I have tried using http://www.xml.com/pub/a/2003/09/17/stax.html here in which this gives me blank white page
